hI, I'm Marilyn
Photographer & Owner

I was born and raised in Atlanta and spent my college years at the University of Georgia. Now, I call Atlanta home, where I live with my wonderful husband, David.
Being a full-time photographer is truly a dream come true, and I feel so grateful to do what I love every single day. Capturing meaningful moments and bringing joy to others through my work is the most rewarding feeling.
My editing style stays true to color, with a love for natural light, timeless elegance, and classic black-and-white photography. It’s so important to me that your photos remain beautiful and timeless, allowing you to relive those special moments for years to come.
A few of my favorite things: sushi, golden retrievers, crisp fall mornings, boat rides on the lake, Aperol spritzes, beach walks, and Sunday brunch.

Your Experience

My approach to photography is rooted in creating a calm, comfortable experience where you can truly be yourself. With a relaxed demeanor and a deep love for what I do, I aim to make every session feel effortless and enjoyable. I believe the best photos come from genuine moments—capturing emotion, connection, and the little in-between details that make your story unique. My style blends timeless elegance with natural beauty, ensuring your photos remain just as stunning and meaningful years from now as they are today.

where it all began
For years, I traveled with a small digital camera, capturing endless photos of buildings and landscapes. As my passion for photography grew, so did my love for travel. In middle school, I finally got my first Nikon DSLR, which became my constant companion on trips across the U.S. and Europe. It sparked countless photoshoots with friends and laid the foundation for the skills I have today. In high school, I served as the editor of my high school yearbook and was mentored by my advisor, a professional photographer, who further fueled my love for the craft.
Fast forward to 2019, I started photographing friends, which soon led to graduation sessions, engagements, and more. Over the past six years, I’ve captured hundreds of sessions, taught myself everything I know, and expanded into branding and wedding photography. My love for the art continues to grow with each new experience, and I’m incredibly proud of how far I’ve come. I can't wait to see where this journey takes me next!
